Terms of Use

1. The service

Retypit lets you upload images, detect text in them, and edit that text while aiming to keep the original font, color, and style. We may change features, limits, or the interface from time to time, and we do not guarantee that any feature will remain available or that results will meet your expectations.

2. Accounts

You must create and maintain an account through a supported sign-in method, are responsible for all activity under your account, and must keep your credentials secure. If you become aware of unauthorized use, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account that violates these terms or poses a security or abuse risk.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for lawful and legitimate purposes. You are solely responsible for the images you upload, the text edits you request, the outputs you receive, and any later use or distribution of that content.

You may not use Retypit to create, edit, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful; to impersonate others; to bypass security or rate limits; or to abuse the service or its providers. We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts when we find a violation, and may report matters to competent authorities where required by law.

4. Intellectual property

The Retypit name, logos, interface, software, and documentation are owned by Vision Forge Co., Ltd or its licensors. Subject to your compliance with these terms, you may use content you submit and outputs produced for you by the service within lawful limits. You remain responsible for ensuring you have the rights needed for any image or text you upload or edit.

5. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Refunds

Retypit sells digital products and services (including subscriptions, one-time credit packs, and similar purchases). Except where required by applicable law, all purchases are generally final and non-refundable once completed.

No refund in ordinary cases. We do not provide refunds because you do not know how to use the product, because AI output is inaccurate, incomplete, hallucinated, or otherwise unsatisfactory, or for change of mind, unused or partially used credits, preference for a different tool, misunderstanding of features or limits, or similar reasons. If you are unsure whether Retypit fits your needs, please review the product description or contact [email protected] before purchasing.

Large-scale prolonged outages. The only service-disruption situation in which we may consider a refund or credit is a large-scale, prolonged outage of Retypit that prevents use of the service for an extended period. Any such refund or credit is not automatic; it is decided only by negotiation and at our sole discretion after we review the circumstances. Contact [email protected] with your account email, the approximate purchase time, and a short description of the outage impact.

Billing errors. If you were charged in error or charged more than once for the same purchase, contact [email protected] and we will correct the charge (for example by refund or credit) after verification.

Abuse and violations. No refund is due if your account or purchase is restricted, suspended, or terminated for abuse, fraud, or a violation of these Terms.

Statutory rights. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your jurisdiction (for example, mandatory cooling-off or remedy rules in the EU/UK or elsewhere). Where those rights require a refund or other remedy, we will honor them.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vision Forge Co., Ltd disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Retypit.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
